Summer brings the return of the popular Friday after-work Ocean View event series. The Friday Night Themed Parties and Family Fun Nights are a great way to start the weekend with Live Music, children's activities, food, beverages and more! Events begins Friday, July 3, 2026, with the Shore Thing Concert and Independence Day Celebration and runs select evenings through September 5.
Free Shuttle Service Available – Due to the anticipated high volume of attendees, we are pleased to offer a complimentary shuttle service for the Shore Thing Independence Day Celebration at Ocean View Beach Park. We encourage guests to take advantage of this pilot shuttle program for the evening. The free shuttle service on Friday, July 3, 2026, will be available from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

The last shuttle to Ocean View Beach Park departs at 9:00 PM, Friday, July 3. The last return shuttle from the park departs at 10:15 PM. Alcohol, weapons, glass, and pets not permitted on shuttle buses. Special thank you to Norfolk Public Schools!
